Winter Gardens Bowling has been established for over 4 years. During this time we have received visitors, of all ages, from countries around the globe. These visitors have included people who have never delivered a bowl before in their lives, to top International players.

Between our on site coach, and bowls co-ordinator alone, we have over 60 years, combined experience in the bowling world. That experience, combined with over 25 years experience in the tourism sector, gives our team an edge other bowling clubs can only dream of. This experience is put to very good use and is well appreciated by visitors to Winter Gardens.

Winter Gardens is the premier bowling venue on the island of Tenerife, offering some of the best, purpose built facilities in the world, with an 8 rink, floodlit, “Greenguage” bowling surface. The facilities are open to both the professional bowler, as well as visitors and families who bowl with us for the very first time.

Weather permitting, which given Tenerife´s excellent climate presents very few problems, the bowling green is open 7 days a week from 9am till 6 pm every night. On some nights we also open till 10:30 pm, with games being played under floodlight. Aside from being able to book rinks for private sessions, visitors also have the opportunity to join the Club Roll ups, Open Competitions, Fun Days, Saturday competitions, Coaching Sessions, all aimed at different standards of bowler, from total beginner to established bowler. We can even arrange bowling holidays and take care of everything - airport transfers, accommodation, excursions and of course all your bowling needs.

The question we get asked about the most is the dress code. For casual games, private sessions or Fun Bowls sessions the dress code is very relaxed, with no need to where “whites”. We apply a very commonsense approach to dress (e.g. No beach wear). Outside of casual games, in any competitions we run we encourage team colours

Conveniently situated at the side of the bowling green is the “Last End Bar” which serves tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages and light refreshments.

If you wish to burn those extra calories off or simply want to pamper yourself there is the Winter Gardens Gym and Spa. Aside from gym equipment and the opportunity of having your own personal trainer the gym has a masseuse, steam room, beautician, nail technician, Jacuzzi etc.

For a light snack in a relaxed atmosphere there is “The Poolside” snack bar offering a great choice of snacks and lunches, from egg on toast to traditional English breakfast and healthy tuna sandwich to hamburger and chips. You can sit in total comfort in your swimming costume soaking up the rays of the sun while enjoying lunch or sipping a refreshing sangria

If you are looking for something a little more formal there is “Pedro´s” restaurant. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or evening meal. Specialising in Paella and sea food, it offers a varied choice of international cuisine. Some evenings you can also enjoy your meal while enjoying some entertainment like the traditional Flamenco show on a Monday evening. The restaurants lovely setting, great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices will have you returning time and time again. With a large terrace, “Pedro´s” is conveniently located overlooking the bowling green.

We strive to provide our visitors with the best possible time whilst using our facilities. We continuously evaluate our effectiveness to meet that goal. To that end we have brought together a team of people who's experience in customer services, planning, preparation, experience in all things bowling come together to ensure the highest possible standards are met.
